Kathy has more than thirty years of experience assisting clients with their legal issues relating to their children and family law issues. With her many years of experience, Kathy has assisted many clients in divorce cases involving businesses, farms and significant assets to be divided. She has also handled many cases for parents who are seeking court assistance with their parenting time and decision making allocations. Kathy believes that an important part of her job is helping to educate her clients as they navigate the complex court system, not only about how the system works but also about which goals are attainable. This education helps clients make informed decisions about setting their goals and gives them realistic expectations about what the court system can do for them and their children. Kathy is a good listener and assists clients with reaching their goals, giving advice about what is relevant to judges and what information to gather to assist clients with reaching their goals. Kathy recognizes that handling family issues relating to children and property are some of the most stressful times in client's lives, and she provides compassionate listening with experienced, strong advocacy.
